About Us

Oasis Baptist Church was originally a product of Sanctuary Baptist Church in Waymouth St. Adelaide Pastored by  Bro. Neil Aitschinson. With the venue being too small especially for Sunday School, it was decided to relocate  the Church to Parkside  in 2012. After the relocation Pastor Neil decided to go back to Waymouth St. and continue Sanctuary Ministries while Sanctuary Baptist Church continued in Parkside Primary School under the Ministry of Bro. Athol Meintjes who also took on the Pastoral role, eventually changing the name of Sanctuary to Oasis Baptist Church in 2016. Oasis Baptist Church then relocated further South to Pasadena High School in 2015, meeting in the Pasadena Tower Arts Center where it still continues to meet. Praise the Lord.
